THROUGH The Valley of Death : Diving Deeper

See Jesus

Beloved,

Whatever you are facing, whatever comes your way, be confident of this:

The Lord Is With You.  He Will Carry You THROUGH!

"Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name: you are mine.  When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
Isaiah 43:1b-2

Even if you are facing the Valley of the Shadow of Death, Beloved, have no fear.  The Lord, your Shepherd, is with you and He will walk you THROUGH.  His rod and His staff, they will comfort you.

There in the Valley, He has prepared a feast for you, the beautiful Holy Communion. Eat upon the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Drink of the Cup of the New Covenant, Christ's Blood shed for you.  Think about His Love.

We have a most sure promise from the Lord God Almighty.  He will lead us through.  We will either find ourselves through the Valley of the Shadow of Death in the wonders of Heaven or we will find ourselves through the Valley restored, healed and in good health. O Death, where is your sting??

If our Shepherd shall lead us Home to Glory, know this, the Lord Himself will comfort our loved ones and heal their broken hearts.  He will also lead them THROUGH Death's Valley of Sorrow.  They will emerge unscathed!

Beloved, if you are suffering from fear of Death, suffer no more.  That tormenting spirit must go now in the Mighty Name of Jesus!  May every tormenting spirit in your presence be silenced and cast down in Jesus' Mighty Name!  May the Holy Spirit of Peace fill you with all hope and joy as you trust in Him.

Yet even in such confidence of Heaven, we also have the great confidence of Christ's healing!  We are confident that the Word of God is True!

It is written,

"He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."  1 Peter 2:24-25

Beloved, you are not foolish nor naive to believe that Christ has healed you.  Rejoice that Christ has led you through this Valley of sickness and disease, bearing its curse upon His own back!  He led you through at the Cross and He is leading you Through these symptoms now.  See Christ, your Healer, leading you through.  Let the rod and staff, His Word and His Spirit, comfort you, lead you, assure you.

Be bold.  Be very brave.

Listent to this week's podcast and be encouraged:  The Lord Shall Lead Us Through The Valley of the Shadow of Death!

Here is a breakdown of the events from the Rapture of the Believers through to the Great White Throne of Judgment.  I encourage you to review the verses and know the kindness and goodness of Jesus.

1.  Rapture

The Rapture is imminent, nothing else has to happen before Rapture can take place.  The Rapture is the event when Christ appears in the air and the believers are taken to Heaven. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-1  7, 1 Corinthians 15:52)

2.  The Judgement Seat of Christ

At the Judgment Seat of Christ Christians will be judged and rewarded.  This will take place in Heaven.  (Romans 14:10-12, 1 Corinthians 4:5, 2 Corinthians 5:1-10)

3.  The Tribulation

Following the Rapture a Tribulation, a time of distress such as the world has never known, will begin.  During this time the antichrist will rise to power.  (Matthew 24:21, Daniel 12:1, Revelation 7:14)

4. The Millennium

At the end of the Tribulation King Jesus will come to earth to establish his earthly Kingdom and he will reign as King upon the Throne of King David for one thousand years. (Revelation 20:7-10)

5.  The Great White Throne of Judgement

This is the Day of Judgment when unbelievers will stand before the Throne of God on their own merit.  They will be judged and condemned.  (Revelation 20:11-15, Hebrews 9:27)

Know Jesus

This week, you can dive deeper into the message through one or all of the following:

Discovery Bible Study

TO BEGIN

Pray and ask Holy Spirit to teach you about God from His word.

Next, read the verse a couple of times.

Now, ask these questions:

  1. What does this tell me about God/Jesus?

  2. What does this tell me about people?

  3. How can I respond to what I just read?

When you’re done asking these questions, it’s a great idea to pray and thank God for teaching you more about who He is and who you are!

Discovery Bible Study (DBS) is a way for anyone, anywhere to read God's word! You can dive deeper into this week's message by doing a DBS one any one or all of these scriptures. DBS is a great tool to use for your own devotions, as a bible study with friends, or as an evangelism tool!

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Revelation 21:4

Prayer Prompts

  • Pray with compassion for those walking through the Valley of the Shadow of Death.

  • Pray for us to have the revelation that by His wounds we have been healed and pray that bodies will line up with the Word of God.

  • Pray that we will see and look to the City, not built by human hands, the City of our God and King.
