Meet Our Lead Pastors

Merodee & Kevin Hassler

We have been serving Kipling Peoples Church in a pastoral role since 2014 and as the Lead Pastors since 2019. KPC has also been our home church for over 3 decades! We have had the opportunity to be involved in many different capacities through our stages of life and ministry.

Kipling and area has been our home for many years. We both grew up in the area and chose to raise our family in Kipling. We  loved raising our children here! 

Through our time in Kipling we have been involved in business, municipal government, provincial government, and various community organizations and boards.

We are passionate about seeing people come to an understanding of the unconditional, infinite love that God has for them. We desire to create spaces for people to See Jesus, Know Jesus, and Share Jesus.

According to our constitution, Eldership is a ratified position and is the name given to men and women who work alongside the Pastor(s) in providing spiritual care to those in the church family. We see reference to elders in the Bible during the days of the early church and 1 Timothy 3:1-7 instructs on the character of a godly elder.

According to our constitution, the term Deacon is given to men and women who serve on the Board of Directors to help make financial and stewardship decisions pertaining to the governance of the church building, staff and ministries. 1 Timothy 3:8-13 instructs on the character of godly deacon.
