To All Who Believe

The promise of Christ’s return through biblical prophecy is a pillar in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a beautiful way in which Christ continues to initiate His love, his righteousness and his justice towards humanity and the children of God.

It is through Christ’s return that His people will be with Him forever. It is through His return that He will establish His throne and rule in righteousness forever. It is through His return that the wrongs and evils of sin and darkness are avenged!

God initiates His love towards us and promising His return for us.

Let’s listen to the words of Jesus as recorded in John 14:1-4,

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

God initiates His love towards all of humankind by taking on the form of humanity in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ of Nazareth was not merely a good human, a wise teacher or an anointed prophet.

Jesus Christ was, and is, and is to come ... God! Jesus Christ came in human form, came to bring reconciliation between God and humanity once more. He is now ascended and sitting at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven.

God came! We have been given the ability to choose whether to respond and believe that Jesus was who he claimed to be and completed the work He came to do or to doubt and reject His claims, ignoring the evidence of His life and His miracles.

Christ Jesus initiates that we spend eternity with Him forever and ever with the promise that when we die a natural death, or when He returns, He will take all who believe in Him to live with Him in the Father’s House for all eternity!

"But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God."

John 1:12
